Lacrosse is a spring sport, with clinics offered in the fall.

Preliminary information regarding Spring 2026 lacrosse practice schedules and equipment requirements is provided below. Please note that all details are subject to change. Coaches will follow up with specific updates as the season approaches.

Girls 14U (Grades 7/8)

Lacrosse is a spring season sport. The season begins in March and ends in May.

  • Practices are held outdoor, three to four times a week

  • Game schedule is TBD, but will be available on TeamSnap.

Equipment and Registration:

  • A stick, mouthguard and eye protection (goggles) are required for all players.

  • Cleats are recommended.

  • You will also need a USA Lacrosse membership.

Please note: Our 14U program is aligned with the Middle School Athletic department. Practices and home games are held at Zionsville West Middle school. In addition, players have access to the school sports trainer.

The following items are required on file for a player to participate:  

  • IHSAA physical form

  • Zionsville School system emergency medical form

  • ZCS club participation fee paid

  • USA Lacrosse Membership

  • ZLAX registration fee

Boys 14U (Grades 7/8)

Lacrosse is a spring season sport. The season begins in February and ends in May. You can expect to practice three to four times a week at Zionsville Middle School (ZMS). Indoor practice (optional) begins in January with varied practice times and locations.

  • There will be 10-12 games in a season, some games will require travel to area lacrosse clubs on weeknights and weekends.

  • Additional opportunities may be available for certain teams and players to participate in tournaments either local or out of town (ex. Rip The Duck in South Bend).

Equipment and Registration:

  • A lacrosse helmet, a mouth guard, shoulder pads, arm guards, gloves and a boys lacrosse stick are required for all players.

  • Cleats are recommended.

  • You will also need a USA Lacrosse membership.

Please note: Our 14U program is aligned with the Middle School Athletic department. Practices and home games are held at Zionsville Middle school. In addition, players have access to the Middle School sports trainer.

Lacrosse is a spring season sport. The season begins in March and ends in May. Our primary home field is Zionsville Middle School (ZMS).

  • There will be 10-12 games in a season, some games will require travel to area lacrosse clubs on weeknights and weekends.

  • Additional opportunities may be available to participate in tournaments either local or out of town (ex. Rip The Duck in South Bend).

Girls 10U (Grades 3/4)

Lacrosse is a spring season sport. The season begins in March and ends in May. You can expect to practice two times a week at Zionsville West Middle School.

  • You will also need a USA Lacrosse membership.

Scheduling Conflicts - The 10U program is recreational and schedules may conflict with other sports and family commitments. Everyone will get a chance to play and have a ton of fun!

Boys 10U (Grades 3/4)

Lacrosse is a spring season sport. The season begins in mid-March and ends in May. You can expect to practice three times a week at Jennings Field, across from ZCHS.

  • There will be 10-12 games in a season, some requiring travel to area lacrosse clubs. These events tend to be at the same time as practice to help with schedule consistency.

  • Additional, optional opportunities may be available for 10U Players to practice more and/or play in local and out-of-town tournaments.

Equipment and Registration:

  • A lacrosse helmet, a mouth guard, shoulder pads, arm guards, gloves and a boys lacrosse stick are required for all players.

  • Cleats are recommended.

  • You will also need a USA Lacrosse membership.

Scheduling Conflicts - The 10U program is recreational and schedules may conflict with other sports and family commitments. Everyone will get a chance to play and have a ton of fun!

Girls 8U (Grades 1/2)

Lacrosse is a spring season sport. The season begins in mid-March and ends in May. You can expect to practice two times a week at Jennings Field, across from ZCHS.

  • Practice will consist of skills work and inter-squad scrimmage.

  • Additional, optional opportunities will be available to play in Jamborees with other lacrosse clubs throughout the Indianapolis area.

  • Cleats are recommended.

  • You will also need a USA Lacrosse membership.

Scheduling Conflicts - The 8U program is recreational and schedules may conflict with other sports and family commitments. Everyone will get a chance to play and have a ton of fun!

6U Lil’ Laxers (Kindergarten)

Lacrosse is a spring season sport. The season begins in mid-March and ends in May. You can expect to practice one time a week at Jennings Field, across from ZCHS.

Our focus at this age is entirely introductory so expect lots of fun drills, games, and scrimmages.

All games are intrasquad; no games will be played against other programs at this level.

  • Cleats are recommended.

  • You will also need a USA Lacrosse membership.
